Gradient Technology prides itself on being a valuable partner to our customers all the way through the technology implementation process. This includes utilizing our technical and support staff to lead the installation, commissioning, startup, operational training, and technical support aspects of the equipment and processes we deliver.
One of our primary project goals is to deliver equipment and technology that can be quickly and effectively installed and transitioned to the customer’s operational staff. We then remain available to the customer for any operational support needs that arise as the testing and production operations proceed.
Gradient Technology maintains a highly-skilled field workforce that is available to provide the expertise necessary at customer sites to install and commission the equipment and processes we create. Within this group are engineers, technicians, control and electrical specialists, mechanics, and highly-trained operational personnel that are able to provide the necessary technical expertise at the installation site to effectively implement and transition the technology. All of the individuals are trained in explosive operations and other high-hazard environments and are capable of supporting our field installations in any industrial setting.
Following the field installation process, our projects are typically structured to ensure the equipment is subjected to site acceptance testing and approval by the customer. Gradient Technology personnel familiar with the equipment are onsite to perform initial operations with the equipment and ensure its installed state meets all customer expectations before the formal training and transition period begins.
The vast majority of equipment and processes that Gradient Technology delivers are utilized in explosive or high-hazard environments. Live operations in these environments are typically slowly tested and ramped up following successful site acceptance testing. Gradient Technology personnel are trained in the development and execution of test plans and conducting low-rate initial testing for all new operations. Additionally, most of our programs are structured for Gradient Technology technical and engineering personnel to remain with the systems through the production demonstration/validation phase. Those personnel assist the customer in developing all necessary test plans, operating procedures, and test reports to document and track all new operational activities.
Gradient Technology provides training in the theory, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and sustainment of its systems to the customer technical and operational personnel. This training comes in the form of training materials such as documents, manuals, and presentations as well as hands-on training by our qualified field installation and service personnel. We can conduct initial training while the system and equipment is still at the factory and/or conduct training onsite once the equipment is installed and site tested.
Gradient Technology is also structured to provide long-term operational and maintenance support for all of its systems if needed by the customer. This support can occur remotely and/or on-site depending upon the technical support required. Gradient Technology maintains a database of all of its mechanical drawings, maintenance plans and parts, electrical and controls drawings and software programs, design documents, instrument calibration certificates, and a multitude of other project-related information so that support can be provided quickly and effectively when customer needs arise.
